Great opening! Also a new watercolor…

“Impossible faire un portrait sans avoir une avis du sujet”-Baudelaire

Thanks to all who came to the opening last weekend. I was told it was a near record turnout, despite tornado warnings. Thanks to all who bought paintings and many thanks to gallery owners Helen Ackerman and Kathleen Glavin, curator Philip Muller, who made the show happen and Casey among many others. The show is up through February 26.

Here’s a watercolor commission I just finished of “Blue”, an Alaskan Husky extrordinaire at Tate. I’ve included the sketch process for those who enjoy seeing that. Stay tuned for new work / commissions this month.
